Amirah Films
Writer/Director/Founding Partner
New York

I was first introduced to writing at the age of 13 as a reporter for the local Urban League’s summer youth jobs program in my hometown of Mount Vernon, New York.

Now some twenty years later, I am the author of two novels, “That Life”
and “Prophecy of A Hustler II”. Never having received any formal education or training in literature, I write from my own experiences, “if I can’t see it or feel it, I can’t write it”. The visual aspect is what lead me to pen several screenplays, this combined with my own experiences, gave birth to The Death Of A Prince.

I'm a man of many passions, my top two being: Amirah, my 1½ year-old daughter and filmmaking. Combining both, I created Amirah Films one of the production companies
behind The Death Of A Prince. My goal is to bring life and imagination together as one under the creative helm of Amirah Films with at least one production a year.
